got beaten up twice, realised he was gay and then killed the entire goverement.
i NEED him to be real so i can put him ina jar with holes poken in the top and have some sticks and leaves for him to much on. then i will violently shake him.

V1

aka MACHINE, Creature of Steel, Child of Man

Who you're playing as. Little funny vampire robot. I like the sentient moments we see of v1 thoughout; like finding satisfaction in utting a skull on a skeleton and naming it hank. not letting v2 get away again. Something i do find interesting is that v1 doesnt always kill when they could, like Gabriels defeat in act 2, in that monologue you could very easily just sawblade his head off but you have to let him speak and leave. Funny how Gabriel, Minos etc gets on V1's case for killing a bunch when it and other robots HAVE to otherwise they'll "starve". theyre carnivores (also they like attack first. you dont have to kill the Ferryman). gabriel especially is like "wtf youve killed so many ppl whats wrong with you" when hes killed loads of people and he doesnt even have to drink their blood ¬_¬.

Big theatre kid energy, very dramatic, it does seem to recognise when it cant win a fight however, unlike any other enemy (except maybe gabriel?)

Were left behind by humans in the exploration of hell then became sentient, and quickly bored af. They're the reason why you have the style meter, they give the robots them in exchange for weapons and the cyber grind , so that they make epic gaming videos of beating eachother up. they have a hirearcy of the best youtubers basically

I read these over and over again i wont lie, its amazingly haunting. Makes the angels more upsetting, and just hell in general. The angels are believe the word of god is infallible and kill and punish becuase of it. when really its impulsive and guilty and angry.

BUT WHEN I STARED INTO THE ABYSS...
THE ABYSS AVERTED IT'S GAZE.
Is so powerful to me. It's a nice subversion of "the abyss stared back" cliche. This vast nothing wont look god int the eyes, wether out of disgust or fear is unclear.

SWORDSMACHINE

Gets pissed when you parry it, it doesnt get mad often with me B') One of the few machines with some typa voice :o giant stupid block head has gun but barely uses it

MINDFLAYER

transfemme robots.. in a world where reasources are scarse and everyone is fighting for everything they build their own identity and fight and die for it? i see you isee you .. <3

WA i need to yap about these creatures. so basically they're like the 'succubis' architype of enemy, usually the backstory for would be like 'they make them selves look attractive to lure in victims' or whatever, but the mindflayers arent like that! they build their bodies for themselves - they just want to be buff for themselves!! their bodies are such an important part of themselves they die protecting them!!

The secrets levels are kinda some of my faviourites to be honest. I guess its the (for the most part) chill break from all the action

0-S: SOMETHING WICKED

This one can EXPLODE.
Based off old horror games ur in a series of dark rooms and The Creature is going to get you. I hate playing horror games so this one was a special layer of hell just for me. To beat it I just turned alpha to max and followed the wiki's tutorial. (couldve used fullbright but i didnt really know how to use cheats and idk it did feel like i beat this one which i dont think it would have if id use them)

1-S: THE WITLESS

Based off the puzzle game The Witness.
enjoyable little puzzles, there was only one i for some reason got super stuck on and had to look up the solution lol

2-S: ALL-IMPERFECT LOVE SONG

The (in)famous dating sim level. Went into it expecting .welll something more depraved but it was actually a moving thing about how "yeah life has no meaning and yeah that means nothing really matters, but in the face of that do what you want and make the most of the time youre given, because theres no meaning as theres no expectations. It can be difficult to overcome the apathy but it can be done, slowly and surely."

4-S: CLASH OF THE BRANDICOOT

Yeah I dont care that we're already there, this one can go right to hell.
put of bounds to beat this one the forst time, i wasnt doing all that (you can junp onto the pyrimid and clime up to the next couple checkpoints while the worlds un loaded)

5-S: I ONLY SAY MORNING

Very fun and relaxing tbh, i did have to look up some of the fish cuz i was kinda confused with the bait mechanic. FUn fact: at the top of the giant waterfall is a mouth and you get a popup saying "It's a living" i went up there. I love the stupid end windows movie maker video so much

7-S: HELL BATH NO FURY

I LOVE POWERWASHING !! technically havent beaten the level bcuz a piece of litter glitches and dispeared so i had to rset and i havent redone it yet :')

MUSIC

Before i was properly into the game i'd always heard people saying the OST was good, but trying to sit down to listen to it didnt really click (i think its because most of the songs start off a lot slower and quieter). After really getting into the game lemme tell you i GET it. wahhhh it is so good. so much of it scratches my brain in a way idrk how to describe but ive tried to put some relativly cohesive reasons down
