shit scrunchie

first time making a scrunchie and either should have used smaller elstic or a longer tube lol, handsewed it shut and its the most appauling hand sewing, made it in like 30 mins

made for max cosplay! why is evry pattern i make too big :p . this dress is the reason i got pinking shears holy fart sewing bias cut poly satin is a NIGHTMARE

my patch work is so wonky i gotta work on sewing straight lines and maybe buy better quilting rulers..

random patch work coasters

first time using my quilting rukers so i wanted to test them out by making a couple coasters... with thick stretchy fabric... these are cute and woky and they work, need to sew shut a few of them and i have so many squared left over i thought id be apowerhouse making them but could not be bothered everntually

Guitar circule skirt

3/4th circle skirt w a fabric that reminds me o rhythm heaven, first time making something ive really worn !! tried pattern mathing for the first time and its a little wobbly, also bias binding a hem which is also wobbly, and an invisible zipper whichhh.. went wel!! i wish i did more interfcaing on the waist band as its kinda just crumples and floppy :P also there is 0 way to adjust the size so its a bit too loose.. I have gotten many a complent for this skirt o yeah :))

manaquin head

got a friend to masking tape my head, then cut out the patern used a lotta interfacing then a loT of tedius hand sewing

anotha Cross body bag

a sewing comsiion by my sib ,':) some of my neatest work i think lol, maybe should have had 2 layers of fabric for the bag however as it apparently "creaks" with a lot fo weight >_> anyways made a cute little rainbow ribbion strap for it and tried to make some nice little practical bonuses (simple pocket inside + d ring for idk keys or smmt)

Kanaya skirt

HWAH this was a big project, sewing like 10+metres worth of rolled hem and ruffling. it was basically a 5 teried maxi skirt with a like, round bit on the side lol. elasticated waist band at least :P made for a friend <3 apparently its not the bestfor wearing as it restricts movent a fair bit but oh well its a cosplay piece at the end of the day, know what to do better should a next time come :)

Cross body bag

first time really finishing the seam inside my stuff! used a felled seam but didnt really leave enough seam allowence, trying to attach the strap was a mess it was too many layers for my machine and the d rings have kinda sawed through the fabric :p. also satin ribbon is lovely but too slipeery for a bag strap lol, it kept getting so loose as i was wearing it

Brown tail

got the zip right this time!! shape was a little better but not great, put watered down pva on the fur backing so it hopefully wouldnt shed as much (very cheap faux fur) and did too much so its a little crunchy :')

sewed the zip back wards and i did a bad job of the shape but not too bad for like my second time machine sewing :)

Shitty face mask

good ol covid times, hand sewed a mask that icl was too small and genereally poorly made but hopefully it kpt some viruses out. wore it maybe twice lol

Future plans

using a sewing machine is veyr sary but i have leanred to not be scared, dont put your fingers within the bounds of the presser foot, and take your foot off the pedal (better yet switch off the machine) when youre messing with the needle and basically nothing can go wrong
one piece of advice ive never understood is when ppl are like "you can leave the pins in when sewing!!" why would you do that??? what if the needle hits a pin and breaks?? i just dont under stand taking that risk but to each their own!!
